Details This is a chance to hear about the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race from Di Riley, a new u3a member, who'd never previously sailed until she took part! We'll hear about the highs and lows of being on a 70ft stripped out racing yacht travelling at speed across the Pacific and through the Panama Canal. Di had always been an avid trekker, climber, traveller and sports lover. She particularly loved nature and the outdoors and was always up for a challenge.

Details Dave & Jane Newman – also known as The Sage Gardeners, have over 100 years of experience of working in horticulture, floristry and flower arranging and teaching people about it. They have also used their expertise and the natural environment to help improve health and wellbeing. They present for us 'Life in the Victorian Garden', a talk on the people, plants and methods used in Victorian gardens.
