Add to this a bird reserve which is almost in the centre of town, a museum, an indoor swimming pool and lots of boat trips and you are sure to have an absorbing holiday. Day 1 - Outward Travel Day 2 - Full Day Swanage & Poole We travel through the beautiful countryside of the Isle of Purbeck, beneath the ruins of Corfe Castle to reach the seaside town of Swanage. Renowned for its beautiful beaches, Swanage has a rich history and a variety of attractions and activities to enjoy. We also visit Poole – famous for its deep water harbour and historic waterfront. Fri 12 Jun 2026 12.00 am     26 Balmoral & Aberdeen     Short Break

Details Set in the Grampian Highlands with its striking granite skyline lies the vibrant city of Aberdeen, a lovely base for our four-day break. We also offer a wonderful itinerary that takes us from the quaint village of Ballater and all the way to the historic Scottish residence of the Royal Family, Balmoral Castle grounds. Highlights Return coach travel 3 nights at the Britannia Hotel, Aberdeen (JG2 rating) with dinner & breakfast Excursions to Ballater, Balmoral Castle & Stonehaven Free time in Aberdeen Itinerary Included Balmoral Castle & Ballater Today’s excursion begins with a visit to Balmoral Castle, the grand Scottish holiday home of the Royal Family, which was purchased for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert in 1852. At the time, they were enchanted by the scenery of the Highlands. Being one of two personal residences, Balmoral offers us an insight into the priorities and pleasures of the Royal family, as we explore the exquisite grounds, which include meticulously maintained formal, water and vegetable gardens. Afterwards, we travel to the picturesque village of Ballater in the heart of Royal Deeside. Take a stroll to admire the historic buildings, browse the Ballater Gallery, which showcases Scottish artists with international reputations, or discover the painstakingly restored royal waiting room at the Royal Station, which re-opened in August 2018 after a devastating fire. Please note: Balmoral Castle access is to the grounds, gardens and Ballroom. Included Stonehaven & Aberdeen Today we travel to Stonehaven, a picturesque harbour town on the North East coast of Scotland. Here we can discover the Stonehaven Tolbooth Museum, stroll along the sheltered harbour to enjoy the fresh sea air or simply sit back and relax in one of the lovely cafés or restaurants. Next, we return to Aberdeen for some free time in the ‘Granite City’. Described as "one of the most architecturally distinctive cities in Europe" thanks to its sparkling Granite buildings and monuments. There’s plenty to discover, from Old Aberdeen, with its cobbled streets and 15th-century cathedral, to the quirky fishing quarter of Footdee at the water’s edge, and the many shops dotted along the mile-long Union Street. Accommodation Britannia Hotel, Aberdeen, Scotland JG2 The Britannia Hotel, Aberdeen is well located in the ‘granite city’ for our special break away. The hotel includes en-suite rooms with TV, telephone and tea/coffee-making facilities as well as a bar, lounge, restaurant and free Wi-Fi. All meals are buffet style. Details Bonnie & Clyde the Musical After the success of Six Teen Edition in Summer 2025, the Nottingham Arts Theatre Youth Group is back with a full scale production of Bonnie & Clyde the Musical. At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes and the Texas law enforcement's worst nightmares. Fearless, shameless, and alluring, the Tony-nominated Bonnie & Clyde the Musical from the legendary Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll And Hyde, Civil War, Dracula) is the electrifying story of love, adventure and crime that captured the attention of an entire country. When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behaviour turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer. Bonnie & Clyde is a thrilling and sexy musical with a non-traditional score, combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music. It is a wonderful option for featuring large ensemble casts and an opportunity to showcase your strong contemporary singers and actors.

Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Buckingham Palace, London, England Accommodation Selected Hotel JG3 | JG4 We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel outside London (JG3 or JG4 rating). The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant. Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Hotel Rating Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service. Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.
