Awareness Through Movement aims to promote ease and comfort of movement in everyday life, so that we can do the things we want to do. Each session lasts for about an hour and has a focus such as walking, balance, sitting, breathing. The sessions in this class will be done seated on a chair, although some classes also have a lying down option. If you want to lie down, please bring a mat or blanket to lie on and a couple of medium-sized towels to use as a pillow and support. Movements can be adapted for any movement restrictions. |
