Information | | Mexican Train Dominoes is played with a set of ninety one double-twelve dominoes and is for two to seven players.
We now have more than three sets of double-twelve dominoes within the group, so we can have three games playing simultaneously. One game will be for players who have never played before and those who are still getting up to speed with the game. The rules will be learnt along with hints and tips about tactics and strategies by playing some games. The other two games will be for more experienced players who can play the full game, which can take two or three hours.
Players who arrive late can join a table, if there's room, but will need to start with the highest score on that table. Players can leave when ever they need to and the remaining plays will adapt to the reduced number of players.
There is no charge for using Gravesend ASDA's Community Room and you get three hours free parking, which can be extended at Customer Services by saying that you are there for a meeting and you're from the u3a. There is free tea, coffee, sugar, mugs and hot water available, but we need to supply our own milk and biscuits. I'll bring a flask of milk biscuits and players are welcome to bring biscuits to share.
Regards, Peter. |
