A brief description of a typical meeting:
We normally have a monthly photographic project with a different topic each month. Occasionally we have a photographic shoot at an agreed location.
The resulting photos are sent via email to a named person each month, who will then collate them for viewing at the next meeting. We view this on screen via a computer and projector at the monthly meeting with constructive comments on each photo. Advice on how to improve the photo is also given.
The group also provides photographic services by arrangement to other U3A groups, including providing pictures for the website.
Some months a presentation may be made on various aspects of digital photography, including the use of software enjoy refreshments at some point in the meeting. |
