| Details | | Singles, couples or friends welcome, no experience is necessary and it is ideal for men or women with no rhythm or never danced before. There is 1 hour coaching session where we walk through 4 moves and demonstrate hand positions etc. followed by 1 hour of practice and freestyle.
This is a great way to meet people, have fun and keep fit in a relaxed atmosphere all whilst learning to dance beginners moves.
Modern Jive can be danced to lots of music, old to new, Swing, Rock'n'roll, Country & Western, Electronic, top of the pops etc. lots of which is played at parties.
One lady dragged her husband to our group and after 40 years of trying to get him dancing found he can dance Modern Jive! So please come along and give it a try I am sure you’ll all be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to learn and how much fun you will have.
We meet every Monday (except Bank Holidays) starting at 7.30 to 9:30 pm at Christ Church Hall DA12 1NR - doors open at 7:20pm - £2.00.
